Theresa Diane Spriggs

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa Diane Spriggs, who left this world peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born on September 30, 1954, in Urbana, Ohio, Theresa lived a life filled with laughter, compassion, and devotion to her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Theresa is survived by her cherished daughter Michelle Oglesby and was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Emma Spriggs.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren — Samantha Oglesby, Aaron Oglesby, Mathew Spriggs, Mandy Birt, Meagene Birt, Jeffrey Spriggs (Autumn Cox), Jamie Birt (Cary Binz), Kyler Lanham, Korrie Lanham (Kaitlyn Brown), Karson Lanham (Kaylin Palmer) and Emmalee Lanham — as well as several adored great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy and pride.

Theresa found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She adored Betty Boop, loved working on puzzles, and spent countless hours watching Little House on the Prairie. Her favorite times were those spent with her grandbabies and great-grandbabies, and she never missed a chance to cheer for her beloved San Francisco 49ers. Her deep affection for “Dee Baby” reflected her endlessly caring and nurturing spirit.

Theresa’s laughter, kindness, and unconditional love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
