Thomas Howard Scurlock Sr.

Thomas Howard Scurlock Sr., 63, of Springfield, passed away November 1, 2023, in Hospice of Dayton. He was born February 17, 1960, in Springfield, the son of Charles and Della Marie (Thomas) Scurlock. Mr. Scurlock was a member of United Senior Services. He enjoyed riding his Harley, working on motorcycles but most of all he cherished his time with his loving family, especially his grandchildren. He had been employed as a plumber for 20 plus years. Survivors include his beloved with of 39 years; Roberta “Robyn” (Bishop) Scurlock, eight children; Ralph Evans (Selina), Katina Lebo (James), Misty Taylor( John), Bobbie Jo Reno (Kevin), James Evans (Pamela), Tiffany Scurlock, Angie Turner and Jessie Scurlock (Amalia), grandchildren; Philip, Mary Jo, Tiffany, Kaitlyn, Kathlein, Kimberly, Louree, Racheal, Jamie, Kathleen, Justin, Nykalas, James, Jaksyn, Brittany, RJ, Ethan, Hunter, Layla, Ethyn and Alanah, great grandchildren; Melanie, Jeremiah, Lincoln, Ezra, Koty, Jerrica, Dominick, Grayson and Riverlee, brothers; Charles Scurlock and Willaim “John” Scurlock (Heather), best friends; Doug Wade, Mike Shuler and Eric Lawrence, niece; Laura, nephew; Bryan. He was preceded in death by a son; Thomas Howard Scurlock Jr., a granddaughter; Bridgette Udtana, a sister; Cathy Davis, special friend; Ricky Paul, nephew; Philip Zock and his parents.  A celebration of life for Thomas will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the American Legion Post # 6, 1913 East Pleasant Street, Springfield, Ohio.
