Timmy Ray Cosper, a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 56. Born on September 15, 1969, in Phoenix, Arizona, Timmy's zest for life and his warm, generous spirit were evident from a young age.
Timmy spent his professional life as a dedicated maintenance factory worker, where he was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to bring a smile to the faces of his colleagues. He was not only respected for his skills but also beloved for his camaraderie and the sense of community he fostered among his peers.
Beyond his work, Timmy had a passion for collecting antiques, a hobby that allowed him to connect with history and share stories behind each treasured find. His love for antiquing was complemented by his joy in attending flea markets, where he could often be found on the hunt for unique items to add to his impressive collection. Timmy's eye for beauty extended to his love of roses, which he cultivated and cared for with great affection.
A true John Deere enthusiast, Timmy took pride in his collection of memorabilia and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with fellow collectors. His interests also extended to the culinary world; as a self-proclaimed foodie, Timmy relished cooking and exploring new flavors. His kitchen was a place of warmth and laughter.
Timmy is lovingly remembered by his brother, James Cosper; sisters, Jackie O'Neil and Penny O'Neil; brother and sister-in-law, John and Christin O'Neil; and his adored nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Samantha, James, Valarie, Cheyanne, Makayla, Desiree, Joshua, Johnny, Grace, Timothy, and Jackson, along with many great-nieces and nephews. His presence in their lives was a source of joy and inspiration, and his guidance and love will be deeply missed.
Preceded in death by his parents, Timmy's legacy is one of kindness, laughter, and an appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. His memory will be cherished in the stories shared among those who knew him and in the beauty of the roses he so loved. Timmy's life was a journey of joy, discovery, and the creation of lasting memories, and his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. A gathering of Friends and Family will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Jones-Kenny-Zechman Funeral Home from 11-1PM. Burial will take place immediately after at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are being made by JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com
