Tracy Crabtree Obituary

Tracy Ann Crabtree, 61, of Springfield, went to be with Jesus on March 8, 2024 in her home surrounded by the love of her life and her sunshine. She was born April 17, 1962 in Springfield, daughter of the late Raymond and Darlene (Fitch) Nelson. Tracy had attended Kent Christian College for Music as well as Clark State. She worked at several places before she became ill, including Navistar, General Motors, Buckeye Diamond in S. Charleston, and Noah’s Ark Daycare. Tracy loved God and loved people. She never knew a stranger and would talk to anybody. She enjoyed singing, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She loved animals and especially her dogs, Brandy and Tyree. She was an active member of the Greater Life Apostolic Church and a member of the VFW 1031 Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Bobby L. Crabtree; children, Rashe Crosson (Stephen Vanover), Wayne (Samantha) Crabtree, and Kelly (Treig) Meisenheimer; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jerry (Rae) Nelson, Tina (Bob) Grey, and Marilyn (Mike) Middleton; and six nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Monday in the Greater Life Apostolic Church, 200 Snyder St. Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday in the church with Pastor Paul Dowdy officiating. Tracy will be buried at Horeb Cemetery in Oak Hill, Ohio. The family would like to thank Hospice of Dayton for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice.
