Travis Parish Obituary

Travis Parish, age 65, passed away on March 6, 2026, in Springfield, Ohio. Travis was born in Springfield, Ohio on June 16, 1960 to parents Russell and Norma Parish.

Throughout his life, he was known for his wisdom and unwavering willingness to help those around him. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his sons, Joshua Parish, Chad Hirtzinger, and Curt Hirtzinger; his former wife, Pamela Parish, with whom he shared a beautiful friendship and a son; and his lifelong friend, Mike Hirtzinger. He leaves behind, and will be deeply missed by, his beloved grandchildren: Rayne Parish, Ava Parish, Brielle Graham, and Bonnie Parish. A loyal friend and mentor, Travis touched the lives of many. The hearts of countless men and women will long for the fatherly love and wisdom he offered so selflessly. Known for his incredible skill as a mechanic, Travis had a gift for understanding how things worked and took great pride in helping others keep their vehicles—and their lives—moving forward. He was more than an amazing father, grandfather, and friend—he was a mechanical genius with a heart bigger and kinder than most. Those fortunate enough to know him gained far more than lessons about vehicles; his guidance and understanding of life were far more valuable. If he wasn’t at the shop, you could often find him spending his early mornings watching MeTV and relaxing with his most loyal companion, his dog Queen. His afternoons were often spent riding his Guzzi while listening to his favorite music. Travis found peace outdoors, whether fishing or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of nature. He truly enjoyed life and always made sure those around him did as well. His wisdom, kindness, and love will continue to live on through all who were lucky enough to share in his life.

A celebration of Travis’s life will be held at a later date for family and friends to gather, share memories, and honor the life he lived. Travis will be remembered for his generous heart, his steady guidance, and the way he made everyone around him feel like family. His memory will live on.
