Vickie Sue (Spencer) Hale

    Vickie Sue Hale, 79, of Springfield, passed away June 15, 2026, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born June 12, 1947, in Springfield, the daughter of Carmon Albert and Norma Jean (Lewis) Spencer. Mrs. Hale enjoyed visiting the casinos, shopping, living in Florida but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially her great granddaughter Mayleona. She is survived by her beloved son; Monty Maurice Johnson, grandchildren; Evonna Sue Johnson, Preston Johnson and Cody Johnson, great grandchildren; King, Mayleona, Maziyon, Keomani and Braylynn, aunts and uncles; Jimmy Lewis, Dixie and Bill Copper, Sherry and Kenny Page, Kim Frost and Marty and Tracy Cooper, cousins; Troy Cooper and Crystal Cooper, sisters in law; Jane Wells and Rita Wells and life time friends; Norma Blauvelt, Dalene Cassidy, Hattie Reed and Liv Cave. She was preceded in death by her husbands; Earl Lee Johnson, Frank D. Pauley and Elmar Hale, a son; Tony Lee Johnson, a brother; Dale Wells and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services.
