Wanda E. Barton

Wanda E. Barton, 82, of Springfield, passed away September 18, 2024 at Springfield Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born January 25, 1942 in Clifton, Ohio, the daughter of Chester E. And Hazel (Turnmire) Printz. Wanda had retired from Beach Manufacturing Company in Donnelsville, where she had worked for over 20 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Promise Church. She had a sentimental nature and enjoyed collecting and cherishing various items. She always put others before herself. Survivors include her loving husband, Tivis “Tim” Barton-married June 9, 1985; two daughters, Phyllis Houchin and her children, Nathan, Andrea, and Whitney, and Missy Luallen and her daughter, Tasha; extended family members, Vicki Arthur and her children, Clarissa, Lori, and Sandy, Tom Barton and his daughter, Mandy, and Kim Isgett “Bad Money” and her children, Heather and Kelley; several great and great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Phyllis Jean. She was preceded in death by sister, Barbara Joyce; granddaughter, Rachel; and her parents. Per Wanda’s wishes, she will be cremated with no services planned at this time.
