Zackery “Zack” Tyler Freeman, 29, of Springfield, passed away November 10, 2021. He was born February 5, 1992 in Springfield. Zack loved nothing more than spending time with his son. He enjoyed target-shooting and fishing. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Kelly (Potter) and Michael E. Schoonover; his father and stepmother, William C. and Mindy Freeman, Jr, all of Springfield; son, William Michael Freeman; grandparents, Linda Freeman, Gary Potter, Diana T. Rice, Mike and Connie Jordan; siblings, William J. “Bubby” Freeman, Candace (Ben) Mucu, Ronald Cosby, Jr., Kayleigh (Chris) Alfrey, Joshua Cosby, Robert, William, and Aaron Givens, Drew and Zoee Wedgeworth, Kody Jordan, Michael, Anthony, and Kimberly Schoonover; his beloved dog, Rocco; several nieces and nephews; and estranged wife, Shannon (Stewart) Freeman. He was preceded in death by grandparents, William Freeman and Jeanette Potter. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday in the Faith Tabernacle Church, 1002 N. Burnett Rd. Springfield. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services in the church. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
